I am running for re-election to ensure that Teton County has a strong, proven voice representing District 17. During my tenure as your Senator, I have worked across the aisle in Cheyenne and with others throughout Wyoming to fight for the issues that matter to Teton County. Some of the legislation I am most proud of includes tax relief for seniors, funding for K-12 schools, advocating for funding for developmentally disabled children, capital construction for CWC’s Jackson campus, funding for small businesses regarding COVID relief, and funding services for at-risk kids.

As a small business owner, I know the issues affecting not only Teton County but also our friends across the state. Housing, transportation, health care, and education are issues found in every county and every city throughout Wyoming.

Mike Gierau and Family

I am proud to have served the residents of Teton County since 1988, when I was appointed to the Town of Jackson Planning Commission. I served for four years on the Jackson Town Council and six years as a Teton County Commissioner. I have been fortunate enough to be a business owner here in Jackson Hole for 37 years.

Wyoming is seeing a lot of changes, particularly in the last two years, and I hope voters allow me to continue working for the people of Teton County to bring light to the issues we are facing. Our future generations depend on the work we will accomplish in the next years.
